Oak Bay Hamper Report 2012

We are so pleased to report that our first ever Hamper Party was a huge success!I have to admit we weren’t exactly sure what to expect for our first Christmas Hamper Party and whether or not it would catch on. We are so happy to report that any expectations we had were far exceeded! Nearly 50 people came out to celebrate the holidays and even more donated food and cash donations for the hampers. In the end we DOUBLED our goal of filling 5 hampers. Saturday evening we delivered 10 overfilling hampers to the Salvation Army for distribution to families in need. Not only did each hamper have all of the items on the “hamper menu” including tons of fresh fruits and vegetables and necessities like milk, bread and eggs, they also had tons of extras – breakfast items, baking and chocolates, soup, and even Christmas swags and beautiful paper snowflakes. There is only one disappointment – we forgot to take pictures until the hampers were loaded in the truck! Oh well, we have the memories :)Again, a BIG thank you to everyone for your wonderful company Saturday, and for making the Hamper Party a HUGE success. We can’t wait for next year!We wish you and yours a happy and healthy holiday.

Sincerely,Aaron & Patricia Pearson
